New Look?

I have always wanted my website to have some kind of "one of a kind", or a "more special" look that represents me and the "art/style/whatever you want to call it" that I tend to gravitate towards. I do feel like my website is... well... my own finally!

I love Pixel Art, I love "retro" or "90's/2000's" art, it just has this unique look to it that I truly really appreciate, I have been worrying too much about what possible employers or business partners would think of my website portfolio, but I am done with that and I will make my own personal website reflect as much of me as possible!

Just a new look?

Nope! I actually migrated the whole thing to it's own GoLang + Gin stack, HUGO is awesome and I still recommend it to people! It's one of the best solutions out there and it really helps you focus more on writing articles than writing a whole website backend, but I am more than comfortable with go+gin stack and it basically took me less than 12 hours to migrate the whole thing and create a whole new style to this method.

I actually deploy with docker images. I push to my private gitea registry and on the server-side simply pull them! It's actually quite a simple workflow and I can totally recommend it, might write another post just about that.

Moving Forward?

I like being optimistic, there always was something I wanted to write about but ironically enough I'd forget the commands for HUGO and be too lazy to look them up and I would just say "ah leave it, I'll write it another time whatever", and well, never got to writing that... ever..

Now that it's an environment crafted by me I feel a lot more comfortable writing stuff and deploying it!
